Victim Assistance Response to Mass Violence Webinar Series: Webinar 4 – Volunteer Management

Please join us on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 2‒3:30 p.m. ET, for the fourth installment of the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center’s Victim Assistance Response to Mass Violence Webinar Series: Volunteer Management, which will highlight the importance of victim service providers responding to incidents of mass violence and terrorism. The session focuses on:

  • describing the process of coordinating the victim services response agencies and volunteers,
  • identifying the needs of survivors, families, and responders in terms of the roles of victim services volunteers,
  • identifying the training needs for victim services volunteers in varied roles in the field and behind the scenes, and
  • integrating trauma-informed processes to prepare victim service providers to support victims.
