Grant Ready! Essential Financial Rules Every Grant Manager Must Know

The NCJA Center for Grants Management is excited to announce a new learning opportunity for state, local, tribal, and nonprofit grant managers and direct recipients and subrecipients of federal funding. Grant Ready! Essential Financial Rules Every Grant Manager Must Know on Thursday, July 24 from 3:00-4:30 pm ET.

During this virtual training, participants will gain an understanding of administrative requirements, cost principles and allowability rules—included in Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200 (2 CFR 200) and the U.S. Department of Justice Grants Financial Guide—that apply to all recipients of federal funding. Participants will learn important accounting terminology and understand what it means to follow “generally accepted accounting principles” to record and manage federal awards accurately. Additionally, participants will learn about common compliance findings and solutions to address them.
