National Victim Assistance Academy (NVAA) Effective Management Series: Financial Management

The mission of NVAA is to provide an intensive, interactive learning experience to develop and promote professional skills and knowledge for victim service providers. The Effective Management Series offers comprehensive and practical trainings to build organizational capacity.

To serve crime victims more effectively, victim service organizations must use fundamental financial management practices to stay solvent and operate properly. In the Financial Management training, you will learn key bookkeeping and accounting principles, how to prepare financial documents, and how to prevent fraud.

This training is designed for those who are new to their organization’s financial management. It will be delivered online, over the course of 6 weeks, beginning on August 4, 2025.
