DESCRIPTION:*This is not a NAVAA-hosted event.  Please see the registration page for contact details.* \nThis 3-day course (24 hours) is designed to provide information on human trafficking and its evolution. Participants will develop the skills needed to provide advice\, counseling\, or services to human trafficking victims by applying the experiences of victims\, law enforcement\, victim services advocates\, and non-governmental organizations. Florida law\, which created privilege between human trafficking victim advocates\, trained volunteers\, and human trafficking survivors\, will be examined. Participants taking this training should have a fundamental understanding of victim advocacy and should be currently employed with or be a volunteer with an anti-human trafficking organization.   For more information\, click HERE.

The Effective Management Series offers comprehensive and practical trainings to build organizational capacity. \nStrategic planning is a process to help you determine where your organization is and where it wants to be in the future. Strategic planning can help you answer questions about how your nonprofit organization advances its mission and how you engage staff and the board to identify measurable goals and priorities. In this training\, we will review the strategic planning process to prepare you to create and implement your organization’s strategic plan. The Strategic Planning for Program Managers training is designed for those in leadership roles who are responsible for setting the organization’s direction. The training addresses preparing for a planning process\, creating the common elements of a plan\, and implementing and communicating the final product. \nThe training will be delivered online over the course of 4 weeks\, beginning on May 15\, 2025.
